C7 chrome seat emblem removal......
Has anyone removed the chrome emblems on their seats just below the headrest? How is it attached? Can it be replaced? Im wanting to remove mine to paint them body color and put them back but not sure if this is possible. Cant seem to find them to purchase stand alone.

Search is your friend..... Here are several posts about broken emblems.
Bottom line - you pull it off you will be taking the seat apart to fix it. Sounds like a royal pain!

from another post:
It did take yet another day, the tech said that the 4.6 hour max for this job was more like double that. Lots of heat gun use, and tiny clips, drove him almost mad (it was his first), but he did a nice job.
So they had to replace the entire seat back cover, which he agreed with me that it was the craziest way to repair the emblem.

They can be pulled out but I think it will be difficult not to break them. The bracket they attach with shown above is not held in place by anything is my understanding. So once pulled, you will have to take the seat apart to reattach them as the bracket slips out of place.

Looks like those puppies are dug in like a starved tick. I would only consider installing them if they came in black for my red seats.

I ripped two shirts today before I determined that they were getting hung and sliced open on that chrome logo! I will have to be more careful when I exit my C7GS from now on.
