How do you do it?
I ordered a C7--- black on black--- from Kerbeck on 4/22/15. I have a TPW date 6/8/15. Kerbeck has been great providing updated info. But the waiting and excitement is killing me! This will be my first Corvette! I keep hoping GM will post a earlier TPW date. How did you guys handle this terrible waiting game? And by the way I live in Bucks county PA and to date still have not seen one 2015 C7 on the road!

My wait was 8 months for delivery to my garage and then another 2 months until the warmer weather started.
But it was so worth it!!!

I was able to somewhat hold my enthusiasm in check for many months.... Then I was notified my car was built 4/29 and ready for shipment.
I've been on pins and needles since then....10 friggin days later and still no car! And I'm only 4 hours away from BG....
So if you think it's bad now....wait until Kerbeck tells you it's built. Each day that passes will seem like a week!

Yeah Dave is good people. Kerbeck was great with the order. I first went to a large Chevy dealer near me and quickly found out their lack of knowledge concerning the order process. They said they could give me a good price for their floor model and that I would have to wait until sept or Oct for special order 2016 vette delivery. No allocation I guess!

I ordered a vert two months before they even started building them. A 14 week wait for delivery. That was 18 months ago and I still can't wait to get in it everyday.

I put a down payment on a vert on 03.01.13 with small dealer A, then placed the order on 09.01.13 when vert orders were accepted.
The Z51 constraints kept my order at status 1100 for over six months, finally, gave up and went to dealer B on 02.14.14, just prior to the March $3,200.00 price increase. My C7 was finally built on 07.01, and delivered on 07.15.14, all I can say at this point, is that the wait was worth the result.

I didn't mess around with local dealers, I went directly to Kerbeck on 3/11 and took delivery exactly 7 weeks later on 4/29 and got a great price.

I really feel for the folks who waited many many many months. For me it's only been 2 months since placing the order and have a TPW of 5/18. This will be my first vette, I've wanted one ever since I was a kid. That just amplifies the enthusiasm.
The only way I get by is trying not to think about it but then I turn my computer on and torture myself on these forums. Ugh, then I see all the cool mods that are available and now have a few boxes of goodies. I'm really trying to hold back until it gets here but its sooooo difficult.
I'm very lucky to have an understanding wife who is also a lifetime Corvette lover.

Here's some things you can do:
Start familiarizing yourself with the contents of the Infotainment Manuals that are posted here on the forum.
Make up a list of mods you want to do and research potential vendors.

Since you'll need some mods, like side skirts to stop the rocker panels from getting dinged, there is lots of good info on the Forum. I have 32 PDF's of my mods and some info. Here's one on the side skirt install with reference to others. May give you some ideas: http://netwelding.com/Side_Skirts.pdf
