Default Dealers that discount

Looking to order '16 for Museum delivery, Artic White W/Z71,1LT, 7 sp, White roof, Black wheels. I qualify for supplier discount via retired military but am curious if I can get a little discount on top of that. Location doesn't really matter since it is museum delivery. Anyone know a dealer that discounts off of MSRP?

You can get an additional discount (around $700) if you are a USAA member.
Just remember that it is up to the dealer as to whether or not he will honor any discount.
Also the GM military discount is available from May to June for any military veteran regardless of length of service. https://www.gmmilitarydiscount.com/

Key words......."It is up to the dealer as to whether or not he will honor the militsry discount"........good luck on that offer. There are only 3 or 4 in the whole US.

Here's some interesting info also.

You should not have to much of a problem getting what you want with the supplier discount, there are many Chevrolet dealers that will take it. Start at the top of the list and work your way down. Even my local dealer took it when I ordered mine, they are not even on the list this year, but they might make it next year.
Good luck and enjoy the hunt.

I got 9k off my brand new 14..... Just have to negotiate... The car is selling, but at times they do sit in dealer inventory... The problem being is you want to order one... Much better off picking one out of inventory to get a better deal...

I totally agree that honoring discounts is up to the dealer, but there are more than three or four that will oblige.

I asked all my local Seattle dealers and two here would honor the 12.7% Employee discount and the $750 USAA rebate (not a discount). I found dealers in North Dakota, Ohio, Montana, Michigan, in addition to the big volume forum dealers that would also honor the discounts I was eligible for. Some of those states had multiple dealers. Anyway you get out what you put into the search and if you don't ask a dealer, you can't get to "yes."

I have a trade which may complicate things.
Lots of things to do. They have to put a value on your trade. Payoff will change depending on interest rate. ........

One just drive up to him and purchase. ...it will takea few days at the least.

So unfortunate.

When I ordered my 2015 last year I found 4 dealers within 100 miles of my hometown that would honor the military discount.

The military discount is from GM right on the invoice. I'm looking for something on top of that. For the car I was looking at the military discount is $4,750. I've heard of discounts in the $6-10k range.

Credit Union discount is about 9% on Stingrays. I don't think it's available on Z06s.

Non Z06 models are all around DFW. No problem getting a discount. If you know anyone that can get you hooked up with a GM Supplier discount that would be good.

Being retired military, I have the supplier discount. I am looking for a Corvette exactly the way I want it, Artic White, White roof Z51 manual, 1LT with manual and Black wheels. I think I will also go for museum delivery and possibly factory tour if I end up ordering a car.
