Infotainment problems
The short version - GM has acknowledged the system as a POS in all model 2014's and 2015' - ACROSS THEIR LINES with iPods, the most abundant mp4 device ever manufactured.

GM PIC 6056B Acknowledges problem for 2015 models
The PIC 6056B solution for the incorrect album are - use the BROWSE button, pick a song, artist, favorite and the album art will sync up. Oh, you also have to hit Shuttle on because it resets to off. You have to do this EVERY TIME you start the car.
I have been back and forth with the dealer's Service Manager - a great, caring guy, equally as pissed off about it, and they came back
with a final "we knows there's an issue, but there is a manual solution so we're OK with that".
I stopped using an iPod a couple of months back. My old iPhone 4S works better, always reads, but I have to resync as above.
I DID, with the Service Manager, plug my iPod into a 2016 and there were NO PROBLEMS. Funny how now that they have Apple Play in te 2016 everything works well.
You cannot believe how pissed off I am. I have had, and still have, Kenwoods in a Honda Odyssey and a 98 Vette with NO PROBLEMS. But GM can't make it right in a $70K car?
I'd love to have a class action suit for this. Anyone with an ipod in 2014 & 2015 GM Products will have an issue and that's just not right.
I have a 32GB 3rd generation iPod touch loaded with about 90 albums containing 1550 songs. The iPod is plugged into the usb port behind the nav screen using an Apple cable. The system seems to properly recognize and catalog all of the files...it lists all the artists, all of the albums and even correctly shows all of the album art. But I have never successfully played through a complete album without running into the problem. The iPod itself plays completely normally when I use it out of the vehicle.
I became so frustrated with the iPod that I tried another method. I transferred all of the same music to a usb flash drive and plugged it in to the same behind-the-screen usb port. Again all the files were properly cataloged and displayed. But the results were no better. The same thing happens...random jumps from one album to another.
Anyone else having these problems? Any thoughts?
