I noticed that the onStar app is grayed out and does not function now that I no longer have an onStar subscription . Does the weather app do the same thing after the XM trial ends ?

Yes, the xm radio package includes weather and sometimes navigation alerts for traffic and such.

I'd like our real weather to go away .............. Way too much rain in my part of TX. All the flash floods, etc have gotten old.

Frogs in my part of TX are holding kayak races in my back yard. We can't even get into the pasture. Darn good thing we can feed the cattle from the county road .......... What's left of it.

When I cancelled onstar I lost Nav. So I purchased the new HMI and antenna from infotainment now I have nsvigation and also can do the POI and the traffic. I called situs and purchased the travel link weather Nav bundle 6.00 month only feature it added was now my weather icon works ? I do not have a travel link icon or does it just upgrade the POI I already have. I’m confused. Maybe I only need the weather part. Any ideas. Thank you
