Default Two weeks since Museum Delivery.

Two weeks ago today (5/20/15) I picked up my NRB Z51 convertible at the Museum. Here's my 2 week report:

Just shy of 1500 miles on the odometer. 500 mile Z51 oil change at Criswell at approximately 700 miles; short 'delay' due to logistics. I also drive a 2011 Range Rover Sport and a 2014 Jeep Wrangler so the Corvette does not get out every single day.

Two roadies so far. One to Chester, PA, two days after delivery. The other about 300 miles, RT.

Despite some ongoing issues with memory recall for seats, etc, the Corvette has more than met my expectations. It draws attention everywhere...from everyone. NRB/Kalahari interior combo is striking and garners compliments.

Performance is spectacular; 6th Corvette thus a basis for comparison. Averaging approximately 25 mpg overall.

MSRC is very useful. 'Weather' driving mode came in very handy yesterday. Drove about 50 miles in a driving (monsoon like) rainstorm. No handling issues whatsoever despite the miserable conditions. (Was interstate highway travel.). No water leak(s), either.

Mastering the car's technology is challenging. I find it easier to 'learn by doing' in this Corvette as opposed to my others when reading the manuals was more helpful.

Navigation use gets easier by the hour. Voice command function is truly helpful and very efficient.

More to come...

Peace, out.

Thanks for the update TBD. My Z51 vert (with MSRC) is awaiting shipping, but I appreciate reading about the experiences of other owners as a heads-up on what to expect.

Your experience mirrors mine. I'm two and a half months post R8C, 1,700 miles, 1,000 of which were the road trip to The Bash, and a tour of the Maker's Mark Distillery. Also having some intermittent issues with the seat memory recall but otherwise no complaints and love the car. I learned most of the technology on the long roadie to BG for the Bash. Used Nav a lot and it works great. Like the voice prompts as well.

Glad things are going well and hope that continues for a long, long time.

I ordered a 3LT Z51 coupe from Mike at Criswell. Flew in 3 weeks ago from Cleveland and drove it ( 370 miles ) home. Also NRB with Kalahari. I now have about 1700 miles on it. Love the car
