Default PDR Screen Problems

I bought a 2015 vette in Oct 2014 w/PDR system. I bought 32 SD card class 10 as specified in the instruction book. I installed the sd card last Oct. As I drove down the road, I could see on the screen what I was recording as I was driving. Put in park, and watched my recording.
Now in May this yr, I used the same SD card and when I drive down the road the screen says "Recording",but the screen is totally black. I put it in park, and watched my recording.

My question is why now is the screen totally black as I am driving and recording??

They don't want you watching and driving.

Mine never shows what it is recording, nor is it black. It shows a screen saying its recording and how long its been recording for, plus the button to stop recording.

Same here. The screen is not supposed to be showing the camera's image while driving and recording, only during playback while stopped.

Ok, the only thing that could have happened is that the software for the PDR was revised through On Star between November and April while it was in storage. I know I was seeing exactly what was being recorded last fall while I was driving.

Don't think the PDR software can be updated through OnStar. Not to mention that I think OnStar goes idle after the car has been off for 5 days.

Interesting.

my 2015 was built on day 2, and has had no updates. I have never been able to watch the DVR while it's recording.
