I vote for a C2 , I will have one before my final ride..... I have 2 - C3 and 1- C4 (383+6spd).

If the C7 had less computers I would want one... It's hard to unplug and replug in the computer at 70 mph.

Had a C1, had four C4s, put 40K miles on C5s, loved my C6, and like my C7 even more. Still have a soft spot for my '94 and '95 C4s.
More than 600,000 miles in Corvettes - DDs all!

I own and love a C5 and think the late model C1s are the most beautiful cars made, but if I had to choose just one to own (money being no object) it would be a C7. I don't especially like the looks but you have to tip your hat to the engineering and the progress that it represents. I'd still go for the manual transmission, though. That's driving.

All of them, if you count Hot Wheels. 6 & 7 if you count the full-sized versions.

I agree. The 1961 is a fine looking machine. This one belongs to my brother with my nieces at the helm. Sorry for the cell phone picture quality.

Have owned two C3s, four C4s and now three C5s. So far my favorite has been the C5, but someday hope to experience all the generations. Maybe my favorite will change at that point.

I think the picture looks great. Maybe the nieces will take their boyfriends to the prom in it.

I never met a Corvette I did not like, and I drive a C7. But I first fell in love with the C2. C3s and C5s still catch my eye and I was a happy C6 owner for 4 years. I think I'll stick with the C7.

I had a '93 C4 torch red, a 2004 convertible in gray, a 2008 Z06 all black, so C4-the present C7. My only regret with any of them was the days and weeks after I no longer had them. Each one was unique. I would lik a 1967 or 68 convertible and a 71 or 72. Biggest engines I could find. I think the early 70's can look really cool modded up right. But then those C1s. Ah, what the hell, I like them all!!!! But this C7 is a different character all together. Truly a world class car.

That's about the only C1 model I like.

I love my C7 but if I could get my hands on a 1968 427 convertible, I would be a very happy man.
I had a 68 427 convertible and my C7 is faster, smoother riding, handles umteen times better, and is a technological wonder. Plus it doesn't overheat like my 427 did.

FYI the cars of the 60s had a dfferent way to measure HP, i.e 390 HP was really only around 270 by today's standards. The 68 427 you lust after only has 270 hp which was meant to be driven on 100 octane leaded gas. Drive it on today's 92 octane and it is even less.

Objectively the C7 has them all beat performance and technology wise-looks are subjective.

First corvette is my 72 LT1, love it. I enjoyed the 92 C4 I had for a short time, I like the fighter jet cocpit feeling and of course the engine bay exposure, driven both C5 and C6. But nothing like the C7, I do lust for a 1959 C2On the hunt for one..

That poll is a fun read. To the editor CMoe, nice job!
I'm on my third Vette, 2 C3s and now a C5. Thought I should be moving on to a C6 or, more likely a C7. The poll indicates I've arrived at my nirvana, a C5. I'm not sure about that, but it's a fun ride.
If I could have my C3s back, I'd take them, but the C5 is still my favorite.

When I was in high school one of the guys, Frank (geez I still remember his name) showed up in that exact color combination. His dad bought it for him as a used car. I was Sooooo jealous. The 1961 holds a special place in my heart. That was the year I decided I was going to buy a Vette when I graduated HS. Of course, things like money or where I was going to get it, didn't matter at that young age.

There is just something about the smooth sexy lines of a C5 that always put a smile on my face and last generation of pop ups! Mine puts a smile on my face every day that I drive her and she is my DD.

That being said..
C5
C6
C7
C1
C2
C3
C4

In that order for me. But in the end I love them all and hope to own one of each generation one day.

Hi,

I came a little late to the game, but had three beautiful Vettes.

C5 C6 & C7

Each one better than the next. So a C7 for me as my latest and greatest.
