Hi
Look in the glovebox for a book of generally good info on the car.
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
I would suggest reviewing the owners manual as this and many other safety features are explained. The recent death of a man and his dog in a C7 underscores the importance of knowing the car features, especially the safety aspects. There are also a number of folks on this forum who delight in insulting folks based on not reading the manual. Don't give them the opportunity!
As for the emergency door release, you will find it on the floorboard to the left of the driver's seat, next to the rocker panel. It is a a lever that you lift up to manually release the door. There is also one on the passenger side, to the right side of the seat on the floorboard next to the rocker panel. These come standard on all C7s.
There is also a manual door release in the trunk compartment. If you arrive at your car and find that the battery has died or your key fob is not working, there is a metal key that fits into the fob which can be used in a key lock above the license plate to open the trunk or rear hatch. Once that has been opened, you can then pull the manual door release there to open the driver side door.
As others have suggested, take a look a the owner's manual, found in the glove box. It will help a lot, but is not completely clear on some points, so if you get confused, ask away or shoot me a PM - always glad to help out.
Enjoy the new car, you will love it.
