2016 Oil?
So I perused the manual last night and saw a reference to Mobil 1 use for track but nothing about normal use other than using a dexos certified oil. Anyone know if the GM guidance to use Mobil 1 applies to the 2016 cars?

Nothing has changed. Mobil 1 is a PREFERRED brand of oil that meets the Dexos 1 spec. M1 is not now nor has ever been required.
Under the 2/24 free maintenance package, GM acknowledged the preference for M1 among the Corvette owner community and included provisions to cover it.
Do the 2016s even come with the 2/24 free maintenance package?

P.227 of the 2016 owner's manual states GM recommends Mobil 1 for its dry sump equipped models.
