I see nothing special about it. Looks like burgundy metallic to me.
Just like there is nothing 'special' about Arctic White (just another White), Black (just another Black), Torch Red (just another Red), Laguna Blue (just another Blue), Blade Silver (just another Silver), etc. etc., I'm not sure you can get a 'special' color on a 2016 Corvette other than DSOM. Oh wait, I just found an Aztec that looks suspiciously like DSOM:
The 1st LBR to be delivered at the museum was just loaded into its slot position. You can see it on the webcam #6. NICE!!
I have a TPW of 9-7-15. This week will always have a personal meaning to me as 9-11 falls in that week
Getting excited!!

It looks nice. It looks to have Chrome wheels, the first set of Chrome 16 base wheels that I have seen.
You need a new dealer. I really don't think whoever you're dealing with gets allocations. You should call one of the forum dealers tomorrow and talk to them. I'm working with Mike Furman at Criswell but I've heard good things about all of them. You don't have to cancel your other order yet, in fact there isn't really anything to cancel at this point.
If you want a car, switch dealers before this Thursday and I bet you're at 3000 by next Wednesday.
Would you explain how the allocation system works?
It's based on prior years Corvette sales. So if they sold a lot, they get more allocations. If your dealer didn't sell any, or just a few, then you could be waiting for a long time. It's much easier to go to a dealer who you know gets allocations.
Wonder if they could go on the same rail car? What is your event code?
I doubt it. I'd bet they are loaded based on destination. I'd also bet there are other types being loaded on destination based cars. FOr example mine is getting off in Billings Mt, so I'd imagine all cars headed for that region are loaded together.
In another tread I read that Toledo is probably a huge loading area for all types of cars coming from other plants in Michigan and nearby regions. So I doubt if just Corvettes are traveling out of Toledo. In any event mine has been there a few days now.
