Dumb question here. I'm looking at used 2014 vettes, but i'm not a traditional "car guy," so not always sure of what i'm looking at, so figured i'd try here since i've been a long time lurker.
I found a used vette that a nice little old lady has babied, but she doesn't know all the options she has in it, (it's a 3LT per the vin.) The exhaust has a valve in the outter left and right exhaust pipes, but not the center ones. Does that mean it is the AFM or NPP exhaust set up? I can't find anything through the search bar to answer this, and google hasn't helped me much either. Any advice or way to look up if this is the performance exhaust or not would be great.

They will all have AFM valves but the ones at the back just in front of mufflers makes it the performance exhaust (NPP).

Sounds like the "Little Old Lady From Pasadena!" Perhaps a "gear head" if she ordered NPP! Good question. First if it has NPP the outside diameter of the Stainless exhaust pipe is 4 inches. The non NPP is smaller (my NPP tip openings are 4 inches.)
The outer two pipes have buttlerflys you can see and two electrically operated valves that can be easily seen. All C7's have a pair of similar valves back before the mufflers that restrict the exhaust when in 4 cylinder mode. Therefore the NPP exhaust has 4 valves. Easiest is to measure the width of the stainless outer diameter. It fills the opening where the none NPP does not. Hope that helps.
You guys don't mess around here haha. The woman was either a gear head or her son told her what to order (the current 2nd owner.) I'm guessing the latter, as the lady is 87 and only had it titled to her for 4 months before giving it to her son. Anyway, it looks like it's got the NPP from what i've gathered from you all. It isn't a z-51, just a 3LT. Thanks for the help!

Look at the wheels. In '14 all Z51's came with the split spoke wheels.
That nice little old lady probably paid MSRP and her son probably is figuring depreciation off MSRP. The new ones are discounted up to 10% off MSRP so figure that into your offer. As a general rule I would subtract 15% from MSRP for a very low mileage 2014 and go from there.
You can also decode the vin via Chevy customer service. They can tell you all the options on the car.
You might get a member vendor ( rhyme not intended ) to decode it for you.
Post the mileage and you will get a fairly accurate value from members, will give you some leverage when dickering.
Apparently my bad but when I was searching for my '14 Z51, the wheel choices were the standard split spoke, or black or chrome split spoke. None other wheel choices which was fine with me as I am a fan of split spoke and have never seen a Z51 without them.
Guess I am wrong???
