1100 status means nothing. A true 10% off msrp is fantastic if your dealer can get the allocation.
Yeah 10% is fantastic, I got lucky that MacMulkin honored the deal they offered me months ago when i originally started talking with them. I went to 2000 status yesterday and should be at 3000 by Tuesday
Unfortunately they are no longer offering 10% off. Last I heard their current discounts are 9% for a base model and 8% for a Z51. No discounts on Z06.
I had an online "Chat" with a GM rep and learned a couple of things. This may be old news for some but it's new to me.
As an example, the chat rep used a 2lt 2016 convertible with an MSRP of $64,850 where the supplier discount would bring that to $60,491. That's $4,359 off- not too shabby. Also, I learned that the current Supplier Discount is set to expire 9-30-2015, but will more than likely be replaced with another program with the same pricing. The Supplier Pricing will likely not change, just the Program dates will be updated.
There are different Credit Union Programs, and the Credit Union Discounted Pricing is going to be a percentage off of the MSRP. Of the CU discounts, only the $750 CU discount can be combined with supplier discount because it's a "targeted" discount and is a private offer, while the Credit Union Discounted Pricing Program is the same MSRP discount as the Supplier Pricing. The credit union has to be a participant in this program.
The CU + Supplier discounts reduce the $64,850 MSRP to $59,741. Time for some extras ...
The build a car site will be updated for the 2016 models but the rep is not sure when.
This is all as per my online chat, so if I am missing something, or if anything is not exact, let me know.
Hope this is of some use to someone.
I haven't heard of this second CU discount you're talking that's more than $750. So you're saying if my dealer if giving me a % off and my CU is a member of this program then I can get another % off from that instead of just $750?
How do I find out more information about this program? I googled Credit Union Discounted Pricing Program but didn't find anything except the $750 discount.

What I think I said, or meant to say, is that the $750 CU discount is the only CU discount that can be used with supplier discount. The other CU discount is a percentage off MSRP and is about the same as the supplier discount, but cannot be used with supplier discount- the $750 CU discount can be used with supplier discount.

I would start by asking your credit union if they are participants of this program.
I got all this during an online chat session on the GM website. There's a lot of information available from the chat reps.

From what I have been gathering, macmulkin may be the way to go. Many are saying 9% off msrp which is great, if true. I reached out to kerbeck and they have me at 6.2% off msrp. Kerbeck is closer to me and I can pick up but I could do a courtesy delivery from macmulkin which would be between 300 to 500.
I have been using supplier discount to buy my GM cars (and ford Xplan to buy a few fords) for over 10 years and so far it is always there. Now GM may exempt certain cars (like new Z06s) from the program but it is normally a temporary thing.

If you do the math 2.8% of $70,000 is $1,960. so you're saving $1,460 by having it shipped. If you're spending over 70k that profit just keeps going up. If you're price is high say $82,000, you'd have $1,800 dollars extra to spend on options! Maybe nearly free comp seats or the exposed CF hood

Either something changed since I bought my car last month or the chat person from GM was mistaken.
1) I never heard of two CU programs. There is supposedly just one -- $750 off the negotiated price with the dealer. There are lots of threads discussing the CU discount change for 2016's
2) I was not allowed to use both programs at once (GM Supplier Discount + CU $750). Before the CU discount change, it was a moot point as the final costs were the same.

It has been up for about a week now for 2016's. Just need to choose the 2016 MY at the top of the site.

I can only say what I was told by the GM chat lady "Colleen".

Yeah, my mistake. When I said 2016, I meant 2017.

I won't argue with that. I am only passing along info I THOUGHT was accurate. This is what I was told during a chat session with a GM rep.
Thanks for the comments, fellas. This just makes me more intent on getting my facts straight before I approach a dealer.
