Final note, I had the glass shop do a repair which turned out great except for the fact that there was an extremely small piece of stone or concrete which was embedded in the windscreen. This was only noticeable in some light conditions. I thought I could live with it but of course I was only kidding myself. Had the glass shop install a new GM factory windscreen and they were good enough to not charge me for the repair attempt. They did a great job, Register's Glass shop in both Wilmington and Raleigh. I have not owned an American car in over 25 years however, I can't believe how much I am enjoying this Vette. What a great car. Thanks.
