I can't seem to find the TSB on this issue under the thread mentioned..."Stopping Coupe roof rattles".
If anyone knows the exact thread and post number of the TSB that was supposedly issued by GM, can you provide that information for the CF membership?
Thanks in Advance.

This is the thread that has a copy of the TSB and info on the part numbers. "2014-2015 Removable Roof Panel Noise Bulletin". It is a sticky and the bulletin is post #1. You can search C7 roof noise TSB.

I had this done at Fremont Chevrolet, Kalifornia last week.
My carbon roof creaked like mad, really obnoxious especially when hot. Tried grease, O-rings, Shrink tubing, tightening back latch. Nothing had any effect.
Dealer installed the kit, and I drove it all weekend on some rough Kalifornia roads (and I mean rough) and no noise. Took the top off for a run, then re-installed and went again. No noise.
So far, so good. Reality is, if I had known every series in modern times had this problem, I would have bought the convertible.

Having mine done next week. Check with a service rep. while making the appointment to be sure the parts department has the units in stock. My dealer did not.

How could this be a problem when so many forum members brag about their perfect cars and now many of you have this creaking roof. Is it up to the buyer of these expensive cars to come up with a fix for something that has been going on for years and has not been resolved. I thought that this new very stiff frame was going to correct these things but apparently it didn't. GM's loves it when the buyers engineer their cars and fix problems, look at the money they save.

Of course the fix is released after my car has 40K miles and is out of warranty. I have GMEPP and they said it won't cover this and the parts are a few hundred bucks. sheesh..

I will add my 2015 to the list of those top no longer creaks after the TSB fix. Mine was done about two weeks ago and so far all is quiet.

The real answer is, there is NO FIX! My 2015 creaks and pops like everyone's 2014 and 2016. Had the car to the dealership yesterday for an oil change and to add oil to the differential. A line item was to fix the top. They stated "there is no GM fix". They do not recognize this is a problem. There is no Service Bulletin or replacement hardware. It is a 14, 15 and 16 carryover design flaw yet to be fielded by GM.
NOT! Someone fed you a line of BS. Had mine into the dealer for the 7500 mile service and they changed the pins and receivers. It does not squeak/rattle anymore.

I seem to have fixed my roof creak (fingers crossed)
I've read up on this problem and the potential fixes for my creaky roof on 2015 glass topped C7. All I did was slide a rubber hose washer over the striker pin and the rattle is gone. Could it have been this easy? Long road test over bumpy roads seem to indicate such. Any feedback would be appreciated as I am a new Stingray owner.
