I actually asked the engineers about the missing 0-60 timer yesterday at Carlisle. They were surprised as well it was gone but are going to check into it and let me know if it can be programmed back on.
I suspect it was removed for one or both of two reasons. 1.) Music files can be played from USB and having two hardware formats was not necessary. 2.) Customer confusion of the SD music slot and the PDR SD slot. There have been many posts on this and other forums where people have installed SD cards in the center console slot thinking it is for the PDR.
I put my music on a low profile UBS stick and plugged it in the USB port behind the screen.

I sure hope that it can be reprogrammed. We got our 16 last week. I have not had an opportunity to look for the 0-60 timer, but have seen videos and was hoping to test it out some time.
I have heard the 2016 now shows what gear you are in even if you are in DRIVE with the Automatic Transmission. I wish that was able to be enabled on 14/15 C7's ..
