I discovered this morning that the wireless exhaust circuit I posted can easily be operated through the built in Home-link in 2LT/3LT Corvettes. One button opens rear exhaust valves and another gives exhaust valve control back to the car computer.
How do you program the Home Link buttons to do this?

I was told the A8, no matter the mode it is in switches to 4cyl mode under normal driving or idle and the M7 does not. Have a buddy who has a modded A8 (headers and catless x pipe) and it does not sound very aggressive at all until hes on it and it goes back to 8cyl mode. I read something on the forum about it as well awhile back. I have a M7 so an not 100% sure on that though but have seen a lot of people say the A8 sounds different.
Where did you find a mild to wild system for the C7? My understanding is the m to w created for the C6 does not work in the C7. While the fuse size is different, the fact that it needs to sit in the fuse box in the engine compartment makes remote operation a problem.
I have seen home made switches but nothing like the m to w.
See post #7. Skidplate has a link to his excellent wright-up on making essentially a Mild to Wild. In fact I had purchased the same remote relay about 10 years ago for another project for about $12 on ebay! As he notes it's $17 on Amazon. Could have done the same for a C6 and not pay ~$75 or more for essentially the same remote relay with an Add-A-Circuit! Never used it for my C6 because it was easy just to put an Add-A-Circuit and hard wire a switch coming from the fuse panel in the passenger footwell. Just checked and my old, never used remote relay just needed new batteries for the remote control-works fine. Plan to install per his wright-up. In fact he posted today that you can use Homelink so just need one remote working to program the Homelink!
Not as easy to use in the engine mounted fuse panel in the C7 as it was in the C6 (nor is running wires for a switch in the passenger compartment!) Skidplate does a great job of showing how to remove the electronics from the plastic box and get them to safely fit inside the fuse panel.

Pulling your NPP fuse #42 won't do much good on the A8. The real culprit in the autos is the incessant V4 (AFM) operation. In V4 mode the AFM valves close and the exhaust is quiet. This is entirely separate from the NPP valves. And pulling the AFM valve fuse causes a CEL and sounds $hitty.
I had an M7 2014 and now a A8 2015...and I've written extensively on this NPP fuse subject since the beginning. The only way to make the autos sound anything like the manual is getting rid of the NPP fuse AND disabling AFM mode. The A8 is extremely aggressive in entering AFM mode, and then all is quiet.
You would be shocked at how much nicer the A8 is to listen to with fuse 42 gone AND AFM gone. Fuse 42 does little otherwise for autos.
The auto cars go into V4 mode in ALL driving modes EXCEPT when paddle shifting. No way to prevent this without a tune or the Range Technology plug. The M7 only goes into V4 in Eco.
