Need hood stinger decal applied
We are picking up our torch red corvette stingray on Thursday and driving it to Denver NC. We ordered a stingray hood stinger decal does anyone know someone in the North Carolina area that can properly mount a hood decal? I understand the hood vent must be removed to apply the decal.
Any suggestions would help.

NOT true. I did mine myself without removing the vent and it turned out fine. Just tuck the edge of the stripe under the vent and it will be fine. Consider doing it yourself - it isn't very difficult.

Either way it isn't a big deal, the vent can be removed/installed in less than 5 minutes, it's just a few screws to remove/install.

A competent sign shop should be able to apply the decal for a reasonable price.
