On my 15 I noticed in reverse 1/3 ofbthe image on the bottom of the screen is the image of my license plate, is this normal or is an adjustment of the camera needed?

It's a 'FISHEYE LENS' that shows about 160 to 180 degrees of coverage. I don't think there is any adjustment the can be made to it, and it you did manage to adjust it, the 1/3rd of the camera would be showing the sky!

I found if you really crank down on the license plate bolts at the top, the made the bottom of the license plate stick out more. Might try loosening them up a little bit so the bottom of the plate sits a little more flush if it doesn't already.

Here is mine. You can see the plate but the field of view is still adequate IMO.

If you adjusted the camera higher, you'd just see more sky.

The reason it shows the back of your car is so you can judge the distance

Guys, its a super sports car not a luxury cruiser. I would rather Chevy give me a paint job minus the orange peel

The ultra-wide angle lens makes it really hard to judge distance, but you can turn on guide lines that make it easy.
