The door lock settings can be adjusted in the menu by going to settings.

This only works if you have two or more little button marks above the presets bar. Frankly, it's easier to swipe from the right end and drag left and lift your finger away from the screen. In that order.
Favorites... Settings > Radio > Number of Favorites Shown > choices are 5, 10, 15, through 60.
Also, Favorites can be used to store more than Radio Stations. For example, Destination Locations, Tone Settings, Contacts, etc.

See here for a description of the different types of touch screens:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Touchscreen
A capacitive screen relies on the fact that your skin is a conductor
"The human body is also an electrical conductor, touching the surface of the screen results in a distortion of the screen's electrostatic field, measurable as a change in capacitance". Any smart phone or tablet sold today will have a capacitive touch screen. So that's what most people are used to, including me. So it took me a while to get used to the idea that the car's touch screen works differently.
The big difference is that a capacitive screen like a smart phone is truly a "touch" screen in that merely touching it has the desired effect. The car's screen could be better described (in my opinion - this is not a technical term) as a "press" screen. It actually requires pressure from your finger rather than simply a touch. Once I got used to that idea, it worked a lot better for me. Its my belief that many of the people having problems making it work or say it isn't responsive enough, may not have adapted to this idea.
While capacitive screens generally work well for phones and tablets, try using your smart phone with gloves on sometime. A car's screen generally needs to have the capability to operate even with gloves (yes I know you Florida guys probably don't care). For me I also find that requiring pressure to work can be an advantage when driving if the car is bouncing around on a rough road etc.
All that said, apparently Cadillacs do use a capacitive screen while Chevys don't. There are pros and cons to both approaches.
See this youtube video which is not Corvette specific but is a general description of the 2014 version of MyLink.
