Default The Beast Awakens -Pictures

I woke up to let the dogs out and was inspired by the beauty of the C7. I hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed taking them. Hampton Roads, Virginia, 30 minutes after sunrise, 53 degrees, 77 percent humidity.

I'm titling this first one - "The Beast Awakens"

Feel free to copy photos. I love how the water beads on paint when the surface it is taken care of. I essentially followed Glen E's method.

Washed the car then clayed it. Then used 5.5" orbital buffer with white buffing pad to take it down to the paint. Used Blackfire Total Polish and Seal. Then used alcohol to clean off any residue. Applied Opticoat 2.0 permanent seal to the high impact areas--bumper, mirrors, front of fenders, front of hood, rockers, behind rear tires, back bumper. Used CQuartz for what I've been told is a little better gloss for the rest of the car--Rear of hood and fenders, doors, roof, rear deck lid, rear fenders. Bikini cut XPEL on hood, fenders and front bumper with headlights and mirrors. (I challenge you to find the bikini cut line on the hood on the second photo! Great installer used down in New Orleans. PM me if you're in that area and would like details for a great XPEL installer.)
