And you're an a**hole. Again, just because someone doesn't like your mods is no reason to insult them. He's entitled to his opinion, as you are to yours. You are absolutely correct...I was out of line & rude. I was in a really bad space yesterday & I took it out on members in this forum. For that I wish express my humble apologies. I am sorry.

Prove or disprove the lights. Is there a way to disconnect them without ripping everything apart? Unhook them. See if the problem persists. It will at least be a place to start and be either the culprit or totally eliminated as the cause of the problem.

I agree that West Coast should try to disconnect them as painlessly as possible to see if the problem goes away. Who knows what they spliced into to power them, though it's still a head scratcher to me. Electric stuff can be a real pain. Good luck!

Hey Guys/Gals....I've been in touch w/West Coast Corvette & they have been nothing but accommodating. They have contacted the vendor & they are willing to work w/us to resolve this issue. Step one is to: Disconnect all lighting. Then see if the problem persists. The Vendor has stated, and I believe, there have been no reported incidents w/the lighting system & they have sold hundreds of these kits w/no backlash on the C7's.

Hey Rooster, the vendor & my installation tech have suggested the same thing you have...were moving forward w/that. We're going to disconnect all L.E.d Lighting & see if the problem still persist. The Vendor clearly stated that there have been no report problems w/theses systems & they are curious to know what is going on. I just don't see an electrical problem showing up 5 months later?? Stay tunes for more???

Just recently, I have experienced the vehicle refusing to start. 1x the dash display said "Depress Clutch" and "Service Rear axle." If you put the ebrake on....it would lock up the rear end up. But, for what ever reason, it started. I took it to the dealer & they claimed to have corrected the problem. Just this week, it once again, refused to start. Then, surprisingly it started w/no messages in the dash display, expect now its showing the dreaded "Check Engine" light, but it started. I contacted the dealer and now their telling me its because of the L.E.D. lighting system. I don't feel that's the case because the C7 has been running all spring & summer w/o any incidents of not starting. Now, all of a sudden it's suppose to be the lighting system? If the lighting system was the problem why did it take 5 months for it to start acting like this? It would of done this from the jump when it was installed. The custom shop I had do the work stands by their work & will do whatever needs to be done if it's actually the lighting system. I just don't see it being the cause because I don't think West Coast Corvette would knowingly sell items that would harm the vehicle. Corvettes are all they deal with, so I know they wouldn't risk their reputation in our arena.
If you can undo this without damaging the car, please undo it.

mine from distance- You should be able to disconnect the main power for the LED, Mine is only connected at the front PDC and a separate ground. So 1 wire removed and the whole lighting system is away from the system. I track mine as well as show at night, so it gets looks at both places. I do not and will not, drive with the lights on, I don't need any more attention out there. But the shows are a hit, especially with the kids, and that's what its about, the smiling faces.

Do you have any crackers to go with all that cheese?

Maybe some soy sauce for the rice?

It's ummm unique. I'll stick with tasteful mods I think, but as long as you like it

In all seriousness though I hope you get your car fixed asap, sorry it's having issues.
