I am considering buying a set of the Chrome 19" and 20" Z06 style wheels to replace my Z51 Multispoke wheel. These would be the reproduction set from West Coast Corvette.
I could then have both sets to change out and a new set of tires.
I calculate about a $2500 expense (Wheels & Tires), with non-run flat.
What would you do? Thanks in advance.
I would do exactly what you want to do !!! I bought a new set of Continental Extreme Contact tires all season ( non run flat ) and they make about the same noise as my wife's 2013 Buick La Crosse tires ( Michelin ) In October I made a 4000 mile trip so I will use these tires from October -May and my regular run flat Michelins the rest of the year and I live in Washington state !!! I did. I went with the 19" x 8.5" and 20" x 10"s. I ordered the Z06 Reproduction wheels from ....... www.1stratecorvetteparts.com/ .... a CF vendor who had the best pricing of any vendor that I compared the wheels with. I choose to go with the chrome v the gloss black. Contact is Keith. Special pricing for CF members.
