I am considering buying a set of the Chrome 19" and 20" Z06 style wheels to replace my Z51 Multispoke wheel. These would be the reproduction set from West Coast Corvette.
I could then have both sets to change out and a new set of tires.
I calculate about a $2500 expense (Wheels & Tires), with non-run flat.
What would you do? Thanks in advance.

Why new tires? I do like the wheels, just remount the rubber. Any quality shop with a touchless machine can do it in a snap. I just mounted Conti DWS06"s for the cold season and they are great, but not as good as the originals.

I would do it, they really add a bit more "pop" to your exterior and in my opinion enhance the overall look.

Discount Tire will dismount and remount for about $80.00. I have done that on both my Porsche 981 and Jaguar XKR. Just thinking it wouldn't hurt to have a complete set of both tires and wheels on hand.

I like the look of the Z06 style wheels over the stock Z51 wheels.

I do like the looks of the Z06 wheels and wouldn't blame you for getting a set.

Not a fan of chrome, I'd suggest what I have. Polished aluminum and it's a Corvette part.
(R86) Wheels at ~$2300.

Does anyone know the official GM part numbers for these wheels as shown. I cannot seem to find the correct number.

I thought about it myself because I really need a cold weather set here in New England, but in the end figured I can only use 1 set at a time anyway. You don't have issues with cold there in NM do you? So 70.00 and an hour of my time for re-mounts was the way to go. Don't you just drive it only about 300 miles a month? At that rate it's going to take another lifetime to use them up

I happen to like the stock Z51 wheels better-to me it looks like a cleaner design with less clutter. But if you like it $2500 better than go for it.
