I won't go so far as to call it silly. If you like it, go for it. It'll never be on my car, though. I think having race car graphics and such on a street car is an affectation, an attempt to say "Look at me!" To each his own, though.
If you're gonna put Jake decals all over a street C7, why not slap the rest of the stickers from the real C7R on it? Might as well mount a huge wing on it too. The huge Corvette across the top of the windshield would look awesome on a street C7.
What's amusing is that the actual C7R doesn't have Jake all over it.
I follow and attend Corvette Racing events but have never been a fan of the whole "Jake" thing. I have Corvette shirts/hats, etc. but none have the Jake logo. A personal preference. I agree with the comments that a stock street car plastered with the logo is kind of tacky. To each his/her own.
