here in ocala Fl. We are blessed in that our AW z51 sweet 16 IS our DD ! And we can drive it every day we don't need the ram 1500. Yes it is a awesome car truly a next generation high tech car. Times I look at it and can't believe that it is my car. Got it last week of July and have 4000+ miles on it already.

Default Totally agree

I've owned my Z51 for about 11 months now and have put about 4,000 miles on it. I own my own business next door to my home so there is no daily commute. I have to think up places to go so I can be "with my car".

I've owned about 10 or so corvettes over the years and have never had one affect me so positively. I get "oglers" and "gawkers" everywhere I go and have countless stories of amazing reaction from people "EVERY TIME" I DRIVE IT.

There are a number C7s in the area. Every time I step into my garage I'm still so taken with the lines of this engineering beauty. And then I fire it up and drive it and I'm continually amazed at its performance and luxury all at once.

I have an Artic white with Adrenaline 3lt, chrome wheels and could not love it more. I am not a wealthy person and I feel very blessed and fortunate to have this car and am thankful to GM and especially Tadge and his crew for putting together such an incredible vehicle.

I could not be more pleased with this car.

BTW Merry Christmas everyone!!!!!

I am driving the C7 way more than I did with the C6. Enjoying it more too, stopped worrying about parking lot rash or the wayward stone aiming to but another mark on the front facia. It was hard but finally got over the thought that car might show the miles and lose the new look. In a year or two I will replace it with another Corvette convertible. I don't miss any chance to go for a drive, even on occasion take the wife grocery shopping. Happy motoring!

Last week at lunch I had a black C7 driving next to me- what a work of art. My co- worker who does not even have strong feelings for vettes loves the C7.

There is not one angle that does not look good on the C7 including the rear and tail lamps.

I am thankful and proud as a C4 owner to be part of the Corvette community and so happy the C7 is such a great modern example of our great cars.

I feel that same way with my C5. Corvettes are not for everyone, but for those of us that have ever dreamed of owning America's Sports Car, having one in the garage is truly a dream come true.

Yes, it's a hell of a car! Agreed! I've been inspired just by taking a little ride to want to shout to the world. Gosh, I wish it wasn't hibernating.

As the OP, I am quit surprised with all the POSITIVE comments, and so very happy that so many feel the same way I do, about being fortunate, and how the Corvette (regardless of the year) puts a smile on your face. I believe a good amount of us saw the Corvette when we were young and just determined "ONE DAY", and worked hard enough, and was lucky enough to make it happen. Just last night, our neighbor's daughter returned home from overseas college, and she did not know I bought this car, so I should her, and immediately she asked if she could sit in it, and would I take her photo so she could facebook it.... Her smile was from ear to ear.... That is what its about. I bet you, she will be a future Corvette owner.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all, and your loved ones...

Christmas Cheer.

I work from home so don't get to drive any of my cars a much as I should/could. I have to say anytime I drive the Vette I get the biggest smile on my face and feel like I'm at home. Before we bought this one I said it was not going to be a garage queen like my last Vette with 32000 miles at 17 y/o! This one already has 4400 in 6 months... loving every mile!!!

I do. I also enjoyed driving it to our humble place of employment before I bagged that $$$$.

Sorry about Saturday -- had family obligations this time of year. See you in January. And Merry Christmas to you, too. BTW, did you see my new grill (below)?

Exactly this!

And I DO really appreciate threads that are more of the "We Love Corvette" vibe.

I look forward to going to work and then later leaving work, cause I know I'll be driving my Z51! I get excited, like a kid on Christmas morning, thinking about driving my car. This is daily as it is my DD. Not even my motorcycles held such anticipation as the Vette does! Thanks for sharing! Such a good feeling!

I have always loved Corvettes and was hoping to get one in a year or so now that I am retired and can afford the insurance. Been reading posts for a week or so and pretty much came to the conclusion that Vettes are not as nice as they look with all the problems. It is nice to see a thread where people actually say how much they enjoy them.

Mine is perfect in every way for me. Don't let the "bitcher's" discourage you. There have now been approximately 100,000 C7's built and my guess is that most everyone is happy with theirs.
