Inbetween Zaino'ing, i'll use Turtle Wax Wash n Wax car wash, i find it works a little nicer that just a "car wash" soap. Key is to always have a lubricated surface to emuslify dirt, a steady flow of water helps. I realize in some parts of the US this can be challenging due to water shortages.
A stationary touchless car wash is feasible for Corvettes, it's the one where you drive in and stop and everything works around you. For the rare times you don't have an afternoon to "enjoy" your car with some TLC.

For quick washes, I've used Chadwicks and ONR Wash and Shine. Both good products and won't scratch if you precisely follow their directions. The ONR is less expensive by far per wash.
