Default Engine idle

Do any of you feel that the engine idle is slightly rough?
I have a 2016 Z51(all stock)
P.S. My daily driver is a Volt so its probably my imagination.

Yep - normal, especially at cold start up. Smooth's out a bit when warm, but still normal. I like it that way. High performance engine - bit of a cammed up idle. That's a good thing!

Thanks for your responses. I recall my C6 was about the same.

Never idles on 4, only under load.

It's the same cam as the escalade L86 6.2 liter. Probably the least aggressive cam GM has used in a sports car.

Go have it checked might be as little as the mount needs adjustment or you could be hearing the injectors clicking.

Yep, if it sounds like a sewing machine, it's normal DI sound.

It's from the pump, not injectors.
