Help deciding on Side Skirts
Also, I have a AW on order with chrome wheels and the stinger hood. I want the skirts to match the rest of the trim. Any suggestions on which product would match better be greatly appreciated.
Thanks..

Carbon Flash Metallic (CFM) is a painted surface on the side skirts. The CFM matches other painted items on the C7.
Hydro-Carbon is a process, where the item is dipped into a vat of water and film is applied to the item being dipped. It simply refers to a carbon pattern/film that is applied during the dipping process. This process is really called hydrographic printing or water transfer printing. After the item is dipped, it is rinsed then clear coated.
I have had the hydrographic printing done on an engine cover for my Jaguar XKR. The results are remarkable and quite impressive. The image below is a Silver Carbon Fiber pattern. The engine cover for my 2009 (Jaguar XKR) has been dipped...Cost $180.00

You also need to decide on which style side skirts you want. I have the "Race" side skirts, which go straight across. The "Street" skirt have the curve in them. The "Street" skirts are similar to the ZO6 side skirts.

To the OP.
All the Z06 trimming is painted carbon flash, unless you get all of it changed to the carbon fiber look stick to the OEM color.
It would look like a bag of skittles having the hood vent, grill, splitter, gills, skirts, and rear on different colors. It would look like ***.

Thanks for accolades on my C7, it's just a base model 1LT with the 2015 Z51 Appearance pkg and few extra mods. I consider it a low priced C7.
Before I bought my side skirts I researched several vendors. I liked the Z06 Style with the curve, so I made my purchase via a CF vendor named C7carbon.com.
The side skirts were the Z06 Style GTX Fiberglass skirts that come pre-primed and ready for painting. I completed the painting as a DIY project with a Carbon Mist Metallic paint very close to the GM paint Carbon Flash Metallic. I did the installation myself.
I have about 3 coats of clear coat, and for the price they were a great value compared to other Z06 style skirts I found from other vendors. I bought these 12 months ago, spoke with Andwar at C7carbon direct their lead salesperson and paid $389.00 for the set delivered. I see they have gone up in price slightly, but Andwar at C7 usually provides a better price point for CF members. The paint materials were about $40 extra and had adhesion promoter, primer, and paint left over for other small jobs.
Overall I am pleased with the appearance of the C7 and get a lot of compliments.

Despite being a "base" car, it doesn't leave much to be desired compared against any other C7 I've seen. I am hoping to order a 1LT torch red car later this year myself.

What I found after comparing several vendors were the overall quality and price points. When I bought these in early 2015, there was no other vendor that came close to the pricing of C7carbon.com The folks at C7carbon.com were very friendly and as mentioned Andwar their lead salesperson, gave me a great price for being a CF member. They were easy to work with, made the transaction easy, and delivered the side skirts at no cost. Once received, the side skirts exceeded my expectations. Installation was quite easy.
It is now 12 months later and the condition of side skirts and paint quality I completed looks as good as day one when they were installed.
So when making a purchase, price is certainly a consideration, but quality, salesmanship, delivery and ease of installation make me continue to endorse the C7carbon product. I know that several CF members have emailed me about the purchase and many CF members have subsequently made their purchases from C7carbon.com. They have a great business model.
All CF members should shop and compare products. Some like the straight side skirt while others prefer the Z06 style. I am sure were ever a CF member makes their individual purchase they will be happy with the end result and product they have purchased. There are many quality vendors selling the side skirts. For me, C7carbon was my choice and I have no regrets with the purchase.

You can step on my rubber coated steel running boards on the '34. Sure don't want to step on my LG Motorsports Carbon Fiber Side Skirts.
