100% carbonfiber, high gloss clear top coat and winner of the 2013 SEMA awards. (LG logo shown for pictures only)
Great product! Looks super, matches my OEM visible carbon fiber roof and has stopped all debris from hitting the rocker panels. Have had for ~3 years and allowed me to removed the marked-up discolored GM plastic protectant.
I went with stainless steel with a carbon fiber overlay and stingray letters inset into the carbon fiber. There is no drilling required, unlike others. They are from American Car Craft.
I have been looking at these for awhile and may end up getting these. Do you hit them with your feet when you get in and out? And if you dont mind me asking what you paid for them? Thanks.
Yes, they are the Z06 style or perhaps considered a replica. The word "replica" doesn't bother me buying these side skirts.
What I found after comparing several vendors were the overall quality and price points. When I bought these in early 2015, there was no other vendor that came close to the pricing of C7carbon.com The folks at C7carbon.com were very friendly and as mentioned Andwar their lead salesperson, gave me a great price for being a CF member. They were easy to work with, made the transaction easy, and delivered the side skirts at no cost. Once received, the side skirts exceeded my expectations. Installation was quite easy.
It is now 12 months later and the condition of side skirts and paint quality I completed looks as good as day one when they were installed.
So when making a purchase, price is certainly a consideration, but quality, salesmanship, delivery and ease of installation make me continue to endorse the C7carbon product. I know that several CF members have emailed me about the purchase and many CF members have subsequently made their purchases from C7carbon.com. They have a great business model.
All CF members should shop and compare products. Some like the straight side skirt while others prefer the Z06 style. I am sure were ever a CF member makes their individual purchase they will be happy with the end result and product they have purchased. There are many quality vendors selling the side skirts. For me, C7carbon was my choice and I have no regrets with the purchase.
Per your recommendation NMVETTEC7 I also went with the GTX skirts from C7 carbon last year. Great quality and look at a great price.

I haven't had any problems with them getting in the way when entering or exiting the car. As for price, I bought them a year ago and I think I paid $640 with free shipping. I got them from Southern Car Parts. I've gotten a lot of compliments on them. Hope that helps.

You do indeed have to be careful not to step on the skirts when entering/exiting the car. You train yourself to step OVER them. It is a bit of an inconvenience, but you do get used to it...

You will quickly learn, but it's you passengers! I don't have many and the wife far prefers we take her SUV when we are out together. Thank goodness as she would not tolerate what I tell my more frequent passengers every time they get out! "I know you have heard it before but please watch the side skirts when you step out!"
I realize it is an irritant for me to repeat that speech, but better that than replacing a stepped on side skirt. I know my friends would offer to pay if they broke one but $1800 for a pair of my carbon fiber skirts or even $900 if I could buy one would be not be what they were thinking when they would make the offer!
