I'm thinking the contrast in color with the OEM might be nice but want the opinion of the more experienced.
Laguna Blue Tintcoat 2016.
Thanks
I'd pic black because that is what you'll get for side skirts when you find the front "GM Splash Guards" are not effective in keeping the GM installed plastic on the rocker panels free from dings!
I installed GM splash guards as soon as I got my C7 in October 2013 and thought they would help stop peddles and other debris hitting the rocker panels etc. Look at where GM put that heavy plastic and you'll see where the debris hits. It's from the center of the door to the rear wheel opening. No way front "splash guards" will do much! I found the rear did protect the back panel since it curves in.
I added side skirts which solved the problem. They let me remove the discolored and marked up GM plastic! Car is now 26 months old and looks fine, no more marks from the front (or rear) tires throwing up debris.
Your car your choice!
I just installed the OEM Black splash guards. Easy install. Thought about the body colored splash guards as they look good but the black ones blend into the black wheel well and look fine. OEM black are also cheaper but I went with the OEM black because they blend in so well and do not draw your eye away from the great looking car as the painted ones do IMO.
