Default Mud flaps?

OEM or body colored from Southern?

I'm thinking the contrast in color with the OEM might be nice but want the opinion of the more experienced.

Laguna Blue Tintcoat 2016.

Thanks

Go with black and a Mud Flap Girl. It'll add a touch of class.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

I vote for painted body color. You can do it yourself with a rattle can of Plastic Primer, Body Color, and Clear Coat. Just paint the "edge" after sanding off the rough finish.

I vote body colored. That's what I went with on my Torch Red. But are you running anything else black or carbon flash like wheels, mirrors, skirt or spoiler? That would be a consideration to me. Ultimately its a matter of personal taste, look around, particularly on the "Official" Laguna Blue thread and you'll find many examples of different configs and looks. Either way, if you like, that's the best look!!! Enjoy your new sweet ride!

OEM, add your own design. Maybe a Box Jellyfish, a true killer. Seems apropos to the C7.

I chose OEM black, for two reasons. One is that I don't really want to call attention to them, and I think the black ones tend to disappear. Two is that they're cheaper.

My thoughts exactly. The prettiest mud flap is one you don't see.

They are not mud flaps. Mud flaps are for trucks. They are splash guards. As other as said, go with OEM black. Barely noticeable and very well designed.

Any images you would like me to remove since you made the comment. Did I post too many images for the OP to see?

I would be happy to meet your request.
Nope, you didn't.

It's very much appreciated.

nmvettec7,

I liked your pictures. I liked the way they showed how the body color makes the splash/mud guards stand out. Unlike black ones that disappear. Please put them back up and I don't understand why you deleted them.

Just to make the point, here is my car with black guards. Can you see them????
.

Now do these stand out or "blend in"?
.

I'd recommend OEM black ones.
