Thats good news, I bit the bullet and went from 9.1 to 9.2.1 a few days ago. Shutting off Siri worked in the '15 GM truck but the '16 C7 still will not return to the last mode after a phone call or HFP prompt. Always goes to the music on the iphone.
I am always hesitant to update my Apple product operating systems because it usually causes me a pain in the rear. When I got my new Mac, I was on the phone with someone in India for hours because my Photoshop wouldn't work with the OS. But, I am not going to sue Apple.

2016 3LT Z51 A8 with same issue, and a couple more. I use an iPhone 6, 9.2.1, and when ending a call, Audi goes to Bluetooth, regardless of what it was on previously.
I also have another Bluetooth issue, where I can not browse the device's content (playlists, albums, songs, artists, etc) from the DIC (driver information center). However, if I hit browse on the head unit, all content shows and I can get to it. Just to be clear, the phone is NOT plugged in using the lightning cable, so CarPlay has nothing to to do with this behavior. When I use the DIC to browse and hit Playlists, for example, I simply get "Content not available". I have a 2015 Tahoe, and this works perfectly - no such issue.
In addition, I do not have the Rear Camera menu to turn off gridlines, as RoosterOG has mentioned.
Does anyone else have the "Content not available" issue?
I would recommend backing up your content to iTunes or iCloud and then doing a restore to factory settings Use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings(Opens in new window)(Opens in new window)(Opens in new window)(Opens in new window)(Opens in new window)How to back up your devices using iCloud or iTunes
Does anyone know of any updated infotainment software?
There was an update a couple of weeks ago, but you have to have the dealer install it. Some dealers don't even know that it is available. You have to nudge them to contact GM in some cases. Depends on the dealer.
Similar issue here.... using Waze set to make reports via BT, once the report is complete the C7 MyLink is hosed and does not go back to playing the radio. In my case I have silence since I have no music on my iPhone 5C (on iOS 9.2.1). I have to hit the radio button to restore audio. Interesting that the MyLink seems to be treating the Waze report as a phone call instead of a simple BT audio. After each Waze report I see a momentary pop-up message to the effect that "call ended".
On the other hand, this same phone running Waze in my Tacoma on a 6 year old JVC Navi head unit w/BT works fine. Reports complete and it just goes back to whatever was playing. So not sure if the C7 problem is technically just an Apple issue or a Chevy issue, but something sure is incompatible.

Thank You I did a Customer Request to GM Customer Service and put in the dealers name that is doing the A8 Transmission fix after the Sebring Corvette Corral

Joe, do you have a version number or reference number for the infotainment update? Also what is the version of fix for the A8?
Thanks
Bill
I have a 2016 1LT Z51. I am having an issue with the MyLink system. My iPhone 6 paired up easily and seems to work fine for making calls. Once I end a phone call, instead of going back to Radio (either FM or XM radio), it is pulling up a random song I have on the iPhone and playing it over Bluetooth.
Anyone else seeing the same behavior? Google turns up one hit on another forum with the same symptoms.
Mark
I am having the same issue, new car, 3 weeks old, 550 miles, iPhone OS is 9.3.1
It is intermittent - this morning while listening to SIRIUSXM it switched to iPhone music, but did not do it when I was listening to USB

Yes, my 2016 is still random as to the music it goes back to. PIA to keep searching out your favorite play list. I did get a survey and was able to point out to Chevy all the exact problems. I noticed in consumer reports last year that vehicle entertainment systems were one of the biggest complaints for all new car owners.
