Default Expel long term coverage

MikeyTx and I have had conversations regarding extended condition on the C7 due to peeling and fading (including Carbon Fiber) which brought me to wonder what Expel would do to help that issue? I have never talked to anyone that has Expel applied to the total car to see what effect it has years later. I know of several that have parts covered with Expel but within the last 3 years so no long term knowledge. We would like to hear some thoughts . . .

I've had clear-film installed on much of the exposed lower body surfaces (fenders, bumper, lower doors/rockers, & side panels,
plus 1/2 the hood) for either two+ yrs (supplemental) or almost five yrs (original). Holding-up fine and still looks good. Original
film is Avery nano-fusion and supplemental film is Suntek.

The 3M Clear Bra that is on my C5 has been on there since the car was new (13 years) and the car has shown no fading or any other detrimental effects to it in that time. Also, the film has not yellowed.

I've got Xpel on my DD now and had it there for only 8 months or so. But it sure has helped keep rock chips and bug stains off the paint. Well worth the money IMO.

You stated, "regarding extended condition on the C7 due to peeling and fading". What "data" or "facts do you have that brought you to such a conclusion?

Looking for data since there doesn't seem to be any. Just questions.

Sorry but your response and original post makes zero sense.

At this point I will unsubscribe from this thread.
