Having a problem syncing some of your tech devices to that MyLink Infotainment system in your C7? Well, you aren’t the only one.

Well looks like this will be the next course of my transmission issue.

I had quite a few iPhones in my day and everyone had issues reconnecting to car BT systems. Went to Android 3 years ago and never had a BT issue. Probably why GM took them out of their supported device list. The proprietary nature of Apple software and the way they implement BT is problematic with most non Apple devices.
It sucks that GM called them compatible and I suspect they learned their lesson but leaves a lot of folks out in the cold.

I've had various model iPhones for several years and NEVER had a problem with BT using a few different model cars.

Interesting. My sons Samsung will pair up w/o issue. Otoh, my LG G4 will not talk to the car at all.

Good for that guy. GM shouldn't promise something they can't deliver.

I have had few Bluetooth problems but I have used CarPlay several times and going into and out of CarPlay can sometimes cause problems. Not sure if it is Apply iPhone (I have an iPhone 6s Plus with 9.2 iOS or the Corvette's CarPlay integration. I read that iOS 9.3 has some enhancements and fixes for CarPlay that I hope will help.

That's weird. I upgraded to 9.2 on an iPhone 5 with no problems on my 2016. I wonder if it's specific iPhone models that have problems.

I've got the LG G4 and it pairs immediately, faster than any car I've seen. I have tried streaming using the Pandora app on the infotainment screen and the app on my phone, and it works. It will notify me of text messages and read them out load.

9.2 'works' but when you end a call or use an app with HFP prompts when it ends it will default back to playing music off the phone over BT. Carplay works OK. There are some workarounds, shutting off siri, deleting music off the phone and changing the BT device to headset. None of those worked for me, going back to 9.1 did though.
Same with my Silverado and most other GM cars, its not just me.

Its possible its an ATT/Verizon API or other phone difference as well.
Point is, its silly to blame GM for something Apple did.
Even sillier to sue over an ipod or ipad not working correctly.

This was by far the best complaint he posted.
"My son in law lent me his old I Phone 5s and I added some playlist to it. If I'm listing to tunes on the phone and I get an incoming call when I hang up the dame thing goes back to the last radio station that I was on and I have to hit the media button to go back to the music on the phone. On the other hand all of the iTunes music seems to work fine with the phone. Tried the same things with my other cars and when the phone call disconnects the system goes back to the last song that was on. Maybe the old push button radios were the best?"
