The C7 Corvette is every other supercar's nightmare
Independent advertiser Jefferey J. Hart created an excellent commercial, which somehow went under the radar during the 2014 launch of the C7 Corvette Stingray.

ad and the C7 has closed the gap between the Corvette and other higher end sports cars, but I wouldn't call it every other supercar's nightmare. However, when it comes to price, it definitely has an advantage.

its really a shame that the car market is so focused on numbers and performance. Its like if a Z06 or Z51 can keep up with cars that cost way more than, then those cars now suck.
I will keep buying corvettes, but if i had the money i think i would be driving a ferrari.

I like how half of the comments on this forum always argue that "it's just a Chevy" then post something like this. Is it a good car...yes. Does it compare to those selected few that are actually "super cars"....no. JMHO

I prefer the low rpm torque of a large displacement V-8 to a high winder.

People put price value on everything car. When a lot of buying cars is for emotional reasons. I love the GT3 because of what it is, and the 9k RPM redline. It has things that you can put a performance number on.

It is only a problem if a person has issues with simple reality. Yes it should be good, it should be absolutely phenomenal in every way compared to the Stingray. Do you really think that a car costing $150,000 vs $70,000 should just have a little more of this and that?
