After 14 years with my C5 I finally made the move to a C7.
I found an unbelievable deal on a totally loaded 14 that had been on the dealers lot for almost 2 years.
Apparently there were lots of lookers but no one wanted the 7 speed manual. Because of the amazing discount I decided I would go for the manual and wow I'm glad I did.
Picked it up on March 12 and drove it home 70 miles in the rain but I didn't care one bit. LOL
Incredible car.
P.S. It was getting dark when I took the picture and its dirty from driving in the rain.
Looks great - time for a new / revised license plate. One suggestion - your car has the "legal" front plate holder - but that one WILL mar the paint on the front bumper cover. Take that thing off now and use the aero plate holder instead - it touches none of the painted bumper cover and looks better also..
Congratulations!!! She's a beauty!!! So this was a brand new 2014 that had been sitting all this time? If so, that's crazy!! What's not to love about that car...
On edit: Looks like it's time for some new vanity plates
Congrats! Your story is very close to mine - I had my C5 for 10 years but was on the hunt for a C7. I was watching a local dealer for months who had a Stingray optioned very close to what I was interested in. Over the course of those months, I watched the price continue to fall until it hit my sweet spot and pulled the trigger.
I also bought an Arctic White '14 in Feb this year. Going from a C6 to the C7 I can't tell you I was in love with it instantly. For me getting rid of the Run Flats made a big difference.

New vanity plates are on the way.
I was very fortunate to find this car. It was at a small town dealer and was listed with a $19,000 discount. (MRSP was $78,450)
Z51, Magnetic Ride Control, Competition Sport Seats, Exposed Carbon Fiber Roof and Transparent Top, 3LT interior, Performance Exhaust, Chrome Wheels and $2,400 of Dealer Installed Accessories.

Again - beautiful car - congratulations.
Funny thing is the dealer installed the front plate and I didn't even notice the mount until I got home with the car. The Aero mount was in the back of the car. It will be put on shortly.

You Killed It!!! Great job finding a great looking Vette at a killer price. Way to go. Nice job searching that one out. BTW, I agree, I went from a C5 with A4 to a C7 M7. I went back and forth between wanting another auto tranny or going with the M7. Now, like you, glad it has the manual. Much more fun.
