Please have your dealer refer to GM Bulletin # 15814 that came out this month.
This will instruct the dealers of the fix in the IPC (Instrument Panel Cluster) of reprogramming the computer.
You're welcome
I will add this.... My car does not have the performance timer but my VIN also does not show up as a Required Field Action for this fix.... Trying to figure that out.
Thanks, this is great! I'm gonna bring mine in for this, android auto and my right front turn led's went out. I wonder if I can get them to put the z06 grille I got in at the same time, I'm pretty sure they have to pull the whole nose for that anyway.
I requested my dealer do the update as I got my oil change (and Android Auto). I haven't tried to test it out but it does show on the screen now. It is a bit different than the '15 because my '15 I couldn't do a 30-130, it set the higher one at a 125 limit, this one goes to at least 135

With an oil change, the Android update and the timer software my total time at the dealer was 4.5 hours

Well..... It lets you go all the way up to 250, however, if you select anything over 125 it defaults back to 125. How disappointing... I was hoping to get 30-130 runs timed.
I'm getting close to my first oil change so I sure hope Criswell is familiar with this issue as well as Android Auto and an A-8 reflash. They sell and service a lot of Corvettes so I am fairly confident they will do the job right the first time.
Hi all, I have a 2016 C7 M7 non-Z51 1LT that didn't come with the 0-60 MPH timer. The car is at the dealer right now. The dealer tech said that mine wasn't supposed to have the Performance Timer based on my VIN. Is this valid? Do any 2016 C7 M7 1LTs (non-Z51, non-ZO6) come with the 0-60 timer?
Does anybody here have a 2016 C7 M7 non-Z51 1LT that either came with the 0-60 timer or that didn't come with the timer but you were able to update your car to get one at the dealer?
This may be a dumb question. I have 2015 z51 1lt Do I have this timer and if I do how do I locate it. When I bought the car never was taught much on all the things it can do.
