Default Dashboard Display Question

I posted this before, but the thread seems to have disappeared. Above the digital MPH readout on my 14 C7 speedometer was displayed a message in red or orange letters that my iphone was connected to the Bluetooth device whenever the engine was running. I took my car in for service at a dealer on Wednesday. When I picked up, the message was gone. (It still flashes briefly when it's first connected after engine startup.) How do I get it back? I like knowing my phone is connected. I looked through the Infotainment System manual, but couldn't find anything.

I have a 16 and mine just flashes when it's connected. I figured that was normal behavior because that's how all my other cars behave. Have you tried un/re-pairing it after the car is on?

Yeah, my 16 just notifies me that it is connected shortly after starting the car, then nothing else.

On a side note, this car is the quickest Bluetooth connecting car I've seen. It's almost instant.

Yes. It did nothing. The dealer did something.

On the right side of the steering wheel, there's a button labeled 'SEL' with four arrows surrounding it. Press the left arrow. Press the top or bottom arrow buttons to highlight 'PHONE' on the dash display. Press the 'SEL' button the steering wheel. Done.

It kinda takes over that center section, but there it is. Thanks, didn't know that!

Your previous thread did not "disappear". It just rolled off the first page. Since you started this thread, I just closed your original thread which is here: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-question.html
