Couldn't stand the look of the passenger side windshield wiper so I just took it off. Looks so much better without it. Before you ask, I did get caught in a rain storm and I could see just fine.

Thinking about removing the doors. Like that open airy look. Before anybody asks, I always wear my seatbelts....

I removed the brake calipers. The rotors look much cleaner this way...

I may remove the outside mirrors; it would make it more aerodynamic.

Sounds like a quick way to get a ticket. I believe wipers are required safety items.

Not too worried about that since I've never been cited for no front license plate ever in 20 years as required by law here.

Might be easier to just remove the entire windshield, eliminate all unsightly wipers and no more bug spots.

So, from the modded and unmodded pics it appears you also had it painted a different color and turned into a convertible. I'd say taking a wiper off isn't much of a mod compared to all that.

Seriously, wipers are an important safety item; taking one off doesn't seem very smart for you and anyone around you when it's raining.

In the 60's it was very common to remove the wipers on mid-years. Just pop them on when needed. Also, sun visors were removed on mid-years.
