How are the seats, specifically the left leg bolster?
My wish is that cylinder deactivation could be a setting, on, off, auto. When I am in the city and going from light to light, stuck behind cars, I don't need 8 cylinders. I wish I could just click a button and switch to the 4 and leave it until I get back to more of an open road. Its a complete waste of power and gas going a block at at time and it shifting between 1-2 because I can't go faster. Too many cars in front.
In launch control for a manual floor it, wait for the rpm's to level out, release the clutch normally. This works very well but with practice you can launch the car faster the old fashion way. Do it yourself.
1. Just look at the dash before you turn off your vehicle and also gear-park your car. It's the same way I trained my brain to watch my garage door close completely before I leave somewhere
2. Use it a handful of times and it will become second nature
3. Ditto. It's sunny and high of 79 here in a Phoenix and I'm stuck in my gray cube. I will definitely be leaving the office early today to enjoy some targa top time
Do you mean a Nissan Cube - or a cube as in cubical?

launch control could easily be engaged with the push of one button, something tells me GM made it so complicated so people wouldn't use it often and mess up the tranny.
Isn't there a light in the cluster that lights up when the park brake is engaged? There is on my CTS.
In the cluster, yes. But when I turn off the motor and forget if I set the parking brake I have to look really really quick before the screen turns off. I wish the button itself lit up while engaged.
Launch control is as easy as 1-2-3...
1) Set driving mode to Track and press the traction control button two times (one thousand one, one thousand two)
2) Put left foot on brake. HARD. Like you are making a panic stop.
3) Floor accelerator and hold.
Once you let go of the brake, do not lift on the accelerator, until you are ready to slow down or stop.
I have used it probably 15 times now, and it hasn't failed me once.
I've tried that but putting your foot on the brake does not work... if you're an M7!
What if I forget to set it. Turn the car off. And then pull the button. Will the parking brake still engage?
Yes.
If it does, that means anytime I am not sure, I can just pull it again.
Exactly!
Tip: If you're in an M7 on a hill waiting for a long light, yes the "hill assist" feature will hold the brake for you while you move your foot to press on the gas and your other foot is on the clutch, however... If that light is long or you're just rolling slightly at a stop light, simply flick the e-brake on. It'll release when you give it the gas and you don't have to worry about the "hill assist" braking action only lasting a few seconds.
As for setting the e-brake when parked, IMHO, Chevy should update that such that if the engine is off and the fob has "left the building" the e-brake is automatically applied if not already applied. IOW the e-brake should set itself if the engine is off and nobody's in the car. Additionally, if you need to say tow the car, you should be able to disable this feature.
