IMHO, the Corvette dynamic is changing and I think the C7 has a lot to do with it. I've noticed a lot of younger folks buying C5s and C6s. Yes they'd like to buy a C7, but they're still in their family years. Their kids, some of them very young, love it. I think these folks will still be buying Corvettes many years down the road.
These two older models, the C5 and C6, are still very attractive and reasonable prices and support the new Corvette market.

Hmm, I'm 73 and still feel like 19! At 17 I did stupid things in a car, at 19 I was smarter!
Bought my Z51 C7 because I do drive, from time to time, using it's capabilities. Did the same with my Z51 C6 and the two other Vettes with HD suspension before that (and a number of cars in-between.) I liked my 1st 7 speed Vette and '88 with the Dough Nash 4 Speed + Overdrive!
Hope I never "feel" old! Could care less what others think.

IMO, the older Corvette owners bring up the old age topic as much as if not more than the younger ones do.

The one thing a 70 yr old vette owner doesn't have is car payments..

I count myself as lucky that I was able to purchase my first Corvette at age 36 and have had one for the last 10 years.

Hope and work toward the good health and fortune to continue driving one for all the years to come

I'm 69 and love driving my 2015 C7 Z51 M7. This is what keeps me young.

The Villages has more old guys in New Corvettes than any place in the world! The largest population of C7's as well. All with no car payments.

I know one day I won't be able to drive a Corvette any more. But I'm so thankful for the opportunity I've had in my life to own a few of them. But I do love this shirt...sort of says it all.

I'm 24, just a couple months ago I bought my first vette (c7) and trust me when I see an older folk on a vette driving around it puts a smile on myself.
I kind of see myself in their shoes eventually, feels pretty good

Been having mid-life crisis since I was barely 21. Almost 44 years of continuous corvette ownership.

Not necessarily true.
If I can get money cheaper than my investments are making I'll use it as it is cheap. And with every payment you are paying back with money that is worth less and less due to inflation.
If you don't have to spend 60-70K out of your portfolio why do it? Why lose money if you don't have to. I used to pay cash for my cars but when I thought about the hundreds of thousands of dollars I spent that became deprecating assets (cars) it seemed smarter to continue to make money on investments rather than lose that small bit of gain.
But, hey, to each his own.

Looks great! If you happen to see the 2 people that own the Vettes in the back with the flags being displayed, tell them the American Flag is displayed on the Passenger side, not the driver's side. Our flag is always "Right" from the presenter's point of view.

I’m now 70 driving a 15 RED drop top. My left leg is getting worse and for the first time I bought a auto trans Vette. (My previous 6 Vettes were either 4spsM or 6spdsM) Been driving/ owning some sort of performance car since early 1960s and see no reason now to stop.

I live in the mountains of northern NY and tend to enjoy the twists and dips and lack of LEOs on the back roads up here. If the wife is not with me I have made some younger drivers embarrassed when the old guy gives them some lessons. Remember I learned how to launch & shift a manual box in the 60s (Did many years of both street racing and drag strip driving). My reflex stayed good but my left knee did not so a auto box now!

Some people make fun (mostly in a friendly way I might add) of us older players. You got to consider one thing about getting older it beats the alternative!

Possibly one solution for our "older" set is wearing a mask of some GenX/Millennium meat puppet "musician" on our Sunday afternoon drives holding up traffic.

They're PO'd that we're spending their inheritance.
