I used 87 in my C5 when I was mad about the high prices. It ran just fine. I wouldn't hesitate using it in my C7 if I had to, but have only used 91 since I have owned it.
Your resonse is probably meant to be a joke but for those who don't read their Owners Manual, this is what is printed: Prohibited Fuels Gasolines containing oxygenates, such as ethers and ethanol, as well as reformulated gasolines are available in some cities. If these gasolines comply with the previously described specification, then they are acceptable to use.
However, E85 and other fuels containing more than 15% ethanol must be used only in FlexFuel vehicles.
The C7 is not a FlexFuel vehicle!
I did find a good place to use e85, when returning a rental car (that was very cost effective when oil prices were higher.) I checked with the rental car agency and was told most all of their cars are e85 comparable.
Unless you grow corn it's probably the only logical use of the product!

If youre tuned for e85, you can run e85. I may run it in my c7 in the future.
No joke. Tuned for e85 and modded by Vengeance. Over 2,000 miles running 91-93 and or a mix of e85(75%) pushing 758 rwhp.

Please elaborate. I assume you have done a flex fuel conversion for the track benefits based on where you live. I would hate to see one of our members just give it a try on their stock C7.
Ahhh, I see others reacted before me here. GOOD!

WE have 93 available in this area but it come with that "up to 10% ethanol crap in it. We also have at some stations a 91 available without the crap ethanol. I only use the 91, Same thing when I had my 07 Z06, vehicles run fine!
I also have a boat and a ATV & 10 2 stroke toys and tools and they all get the 91 without the ethanol crap.
