They needed to do:
a small HP or torque bump
throw in that 10 speed transmission
Suede inserts with logo stitched into the headrest
New wheel design
Update the lower grill
I mean after 4 years you need to do a mid cycle revision

Echo others- aside from the Z06-lite, there are not "significant" changes... A few gingerbread variants, and that's about it. The '16s had a lot more notable changes.
GM knew that the GS would be the catalyst for the 17MY. "Significant" changes will be next year IMO.
