^^^ A fellow in our club won a GS in 2011 or 2012.
Our club in Houston had a member win a C6 years ago, then another member won a 2015 Shark Grey in October 2014. I bought tickets for about six months, then just bit the bullet and ordered a 2016 LBR.

My cousin's wife won a C7 two years ago. I have a friend that won a C6 Indy Pace Car 'vert' back in 2007. Real people win Corvettes at the NCM raffles. They always post the winners names on their website. Go for it. You're supporting a very good cause.
One could have roughly a 50% chance of winning if they spent the same amount on raffle tickets as they would buying the actual car. This applies to the drawings that have a fixed number of tickets available...assuming all tickets sell.
If one likes lottery tickets, the odds of winning the raffle might be acceptable. It supports a good cause, but from a risk/reward perspective, it's not the best economic choice - especially once one considers there will be income taxes assessed on the prize.
I just won a 2017 Grand Sport Collectors Edition a few weeks back, will be picking it up on Feb 9th.
I had purchased a few tickets over about a year for various ones they were giving away. I always went for the ones that were limited to 1,000 tickets. I purchased over the Internet and always wondered if they really made it into the raffle :-) I can say, they do, totally legit, super excited to be picking it up in a few weeks time.
I had the same game plan...bought into the limited ticket raffles. I eventually bought a gently used Z51. But while I was waiting for $ and timing to be right, I figured I'd give it a shot.

I will gladly pay my share of IRS taxes unlike some person we know. Got the money ready on a days notice. I highly recommend ticket buyers to consider worthy causes for the raffles. NCM among them. Just google NCM, Shop, Corvette raffle.
I once entered a Corvette raffle where 3 prizes were awarded. I won 3rd prize which was only $100. Point is...had the awards been in reverse I would have won the car instead. It's always a gamble but all for a good cause with everyone coming out a winner.
Honestly, in my head this was the last one I was going to enter! IMHO it's the best car that they have raffled in quite a while and I didn't think something would come close to it. I am still in quite a bit of shock!

Agreed! I played it to win it, I was able and willing to pay the IRS to take this car and drive it!

I have an acquaintance who always made fun of Vegas. He was there for a convention, got some free tokens, put them in a machine and won a Mercedes. Said he never has been so embarrassed in his life (but he kept the car).
