Sway bars for my Vette
I traded in my 2015 Z51 M7 on a 2016 A8 and it handles ok but
it has too much body roll in the corners. I have a set of C6 Z06
swaybars will these fit my new 2016 C7 ? How difficult are these
to install ?
Thanks >>>> Inthered

I don't know if the c6 will fit or not.
I'm getting ready to put some Afe pfadt bars on my stock c7 in the next couple of weeks for the same reason.
You might want to sell the c6 bars and just buy a set of lg or AFE bars so you know what you are getting will work well.

^^^ I know that the C6 bars will fit the C5 so maybe they will fit the C7.
The price is right how much do the AFE bars cost ? Did you price C7
Z51 bars they may be cheaper ?

As I recall the word out of GM was that only two parts from a C6 will fit a C7.
The cabin air filter and the top hold down latches. That's it.
The good news is that C7 Z51 sway bars for front and rear are only about $340.

I was just giving you a price example since both the rear bar and the front bar were the same price.
So for around $175 its not a bad deal for a set of z51 bars.
The only thing else that you would have to buy would be the rubber bushings

Well, there you go, that's even better news.
You would be wise to see what's in the CULTRAG Performance package so you get everything you need.

Go to Cultrag Performance as mentioned above. I have a base '15 which I put the Z51 Performance kit in. Car is much flatter in the turns and feels a bit more connected to the road.
First thing I did to the car after getting it in March of '15, worth the $330 I paid for it.

I'm confused here about the Hotchkis setup. How can the front bar be 35% stiffer than a Z51 front bar and 55% stiffer THAN A Z06 front bar, when the stock Z06 front bar is larger than the stock Z51 front bar??

All of the cars were great, The Z51 was a bit overkill in my case as I was going to use this car as a GT car and not any type of track use. It has more to it than I will ever use on the street and in the event that I get to do some spirited driving I can't drive it to it's limit.
So, in short, no I have not considered changing the shocks. The cost of changing shocks, this and that out ways the possible gains that you will see if you are street driving. I mean, really .02-.03 increase in lateral G's will not be a significant increase in handling performance.
I now have 21,250 miles on the car and am delighted with how it handles and rides, great daily driver, wonderful road car and very little harshness in the ride.
