Here's my solution for adding a switch. This is for NPP exhaust. I didn't want to make permanent holes, etc. so I looked for a handy place to add the switch, finding it just under the dash.
I made a little box out of ABS plastic that I had gotten off Ebay. Its easy to cut and can be glued with most PVC cement, it'll say so in the can. I mounted the switch under the dash, easily reached, by removing a factory screw and mounting my box on that screw. No muss, no fuss.
Don't know if this will help, others may have better ideas.
switch and home made box
Switch located just above right leg at bottom of dash
I want to add two switches for auxiliaries. I want them on the console so that I can reach them easily while driving.
Any ideas?????????
Any pictures?????????
Any installation advice??????????
Pic below is what I used for an NPP switch in my C6. Not visible with the cup holder cover closed but easily reached. I attached this stainless holder (cut from the bottom of an old cup) by screwing a bent metal strip to the open end then using Velcro to fasten to the bottom of the cup holder. Only a small hole needs to be drilled in the side of the cup holder into the console for the wires. Depending on the switches selected there is room for two. FWIW
