Tire shine
Do you use it and what kind?? I have always used it on all of my cars but after buying a c7 I find myself not using the stuff on it.

I picked up some Chemical Guys TVD_107_16 V.R.P. Super Shine Dressing. Seems to be decent stuff. There's a bunch of different options out there to pick from.

I use Blackfire tire gel. Gives a satin sheen and lasts for a long time.

303 protectant. Cleans the tires and gives a very natural clean look. I used to use the shiny stuff, but have become a convert.

I think that I am going to convert to the 303 myself. The natural look appeals more to me and I think that with black wheels it will look better.

I have tried a TON of product over the years.
Absolutely......THE BEST stuff I've used is the Chemical Guys G6 Hyper Coat! The Blackfire stuff is good, so is the 303 product.
I'm telling you....Chemical Guys G6 Hyper Coat. You'll thank me later......promise.

I never use tire shine on any of my vehicles...
It spins off onto your paint as well as cause damage to your tires over time...premature dryrot

Mothers Reflections Tire Care. It leaves a very natural matte finish.
On my street rod I still use Armor All. I apply it lightly at car shows and it leaves a more shinny surface the judges can see!

Like everybody else I've tried at least 15 dressings they all last a week or two and are not the matte new tire look I'm looking for. I finally found one that lasts a month off detailing.com it is TAC tire coat. Really works well

I think tire gloss/shine cheapens the look of the car.
I use 303. Doesn't leave residue or fly off.

I'm not a fan of tire shine myself. I like them to look clean, and black. At most I may do a quick wipe with a little Armour All while doing the splash guards. That's it for me.

With due respect, not true. The newer products do not sling off, nor promote dry rot.

Once around for matte finish and twice around for shiney finish. I've used it for 15+ years.
