Yeah but the 991 C2S I spotted is in the same price range as a stingray.

$60k-$65k? Any 991 at that price has a ton of miles or has been mistreated and has problems. Make sure you get it inspected by a reputable Porsche mechanic/dealer before buying... I would assume it's not CPO?

It's 77K CAD. 61K KM.

That's actually not bad. I almost bought a 2014 991 with 10k miles for $90k (plenty of options) but decided against it after I noticed some corrosion and learned it spent all 10k miles in the Northern US during salt/snow season.

I will say that one of the reasons I prefer the Corvette is that it feels a little more emotional and passionate, if that makes any sense. It's brash and loud and fun. The 911 is the opposite of that. Still fun, but fairly reserved and cold. But definitely reliable and well made. The maintenance cost is pretty high, although I'm sure you are already aware. Good luck!

Yeah. But seriously I think I want a vette. I'm going to be up north to and drive it a couple of time in winter here, I'm in Ottawa Canada so I think a new car would be a better idea.

Also, the only quirks I really don't like about the C7 is things like these with rattling or squeaking interiors. Is it common? Is it only on a certain batch of cars?

Good Afternoon ArcticWhiteZ51,

I see that your Corvette seems to have developed a rattling concern in the center vent, and I do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Were you looking to bring this to the attention of your dealership?

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

Best,
