Cheap front camera

Just bought this wifi wireless unit and camera that displays on my Iphone for $38.00, not 1080hd but good enough to not ruin front bumper and new splitter.

Not for sure you can mention the big auction site but you know who I mean, there is a free app for IOS or Android also.

I did have to take the camera apart it's very simple and remove a trace inside so the image would not be reversed, it comes set up as a backup camera.

On a scale of 1-10 maybe a 3. I actually wire tied the camera bracket to the grill with one of the black wire ties that came with it and it seems very solid. There is a small square hole in the passenger side panel by the radiator that I ran a coat hanger through and pulled the camera connectors through, I had all ready slid them through the grill from the front side. Plug camera wires into interface unit and connect positive and ground to your choice of locations.

When you say "wifi" how does it work? Do I need to setup a wifi hotspot every time I get into the car to pickup the feed from the camera?

It gives the name in the instructions , I think it was wifiav

When you get in your car you have to set the wifi setting on your phone to the wifiav but I think you can set it to auto join mode

Nothing to wire except positive and negative 12 volts , everything else just plugs in

I could never get the Curb Alert aimed correctly and was planning to remove it anyway. This is great alternative, especially since I already have a mount for my iPhone.
